Our direct client is looking for 
Quality Assurance Analyst / Tester

(Other Job Titles Include: SR QA, SR Tester, Senior Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester, QA, Tester, Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester, Quality Analyst/Tester, WinRunner, TestDirector, QuickTest Professional, LoadRunner, Quality Center, Performance Center, Mercury Tools QA )
 
This position requires an individual to have a working knowledge of health care claims and quality assurance methodologies, and requirements gathering. The position requires in-depth claims background; very strong and solid knowledge of SQL, writing skills, the ability to develop, publish, and implement test plans to meet new or revised product deliverables.
  • Create and execute unit, functional, application, regression, performance, and compatibility testing on software products
  • Communicate product readiness, level of quality, and testing results to managers, team leads, developers, and other team members
  • Must be able to meet product/project deadlines
  • Document problems, recommend improvements, and provide results of testing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work cooperatively with team members
  • Strong organizational, analytical, time management, and problem solving skills
  • Must have ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Skilled at performing multiple tasks simultaneously, and changing focus quickly as implementation and production needs change
  • Must be quick to learn new software tools required to support a project or new development
Requirements:
Skills required:
  • Knowledge of the types and uses of health care claims, and the details of the data used in them
  • strong knowledge and experience writing SQL queries against multiple table databases
  • Extensive experience in quality assurance and testing of software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2000/2003 Word and Excel software applications
  • Must have worked in a development environment previously
  • At least two years in data processing development environment (this position does not require technical experience)
