Effective communication and collaboration abilities in a highly matrix environment. Ability to coordinate with internal and external resources as necessary to isolate and trouble shoot application and infrastructure issues. Work with application programmers, architects, and business analysts to understand the business, technical and infrastructure needs. Eliminate manually intensive activities through improved processes and technologies. Research and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations to obtain efficiencies and cost effective solutions Ability to work across multiple applications/projects, allocate time appropriately to meet assigned deadlines. Respond to service requests within established SLA. Flexibility in off hours support as needed.
Requirements:	Skills Strong analytical/trouble shooting skills Good communication skills Technical learning agility Languages: Java, J2EE, SQL. Technical background in UNIX Client/Server Platform, Internet/Intranet (Web) Platform, Websphere, and Oracle Root cause troubleshooting for AIX and Wintel Oracle - must have current experience/knowledge of Oracle Websphere - Websphere - debugging websphere scripts/logs. Deployment to other environments. Experience with Web Admin console. Experience with SOAP - how to trace down what the problem may be Experience with XML - Spring technology is actually XML and we use it to modify/change login levels
