Our direct client is looking for Systems Analysis Consultant (Other Job Titles Include: Business Analysts, Sr. Business Analysts, Senior Business Analysts, Senior Business Analyst, BA, Sr. BA, Senior BA, Analysts, Systems Analyst, Sr. System Analysts, SA, Technical Analysts) Role Overview, Sr Systems Analyst: Conducts technical research and consultation on new or enhanced features to determine feasibility, time required and implementation dependencies. Primary responsibilities: Analyze and evaluate existing or proposed features and systems (including proposed business procedures or problems in order to define data processing needs). Drive and challenge business partners on how they will successfully execute on their requirements and plans. Prepare detailed documentation, diagrams and/or high-level designs outlining systems capabilities, processes, data flow and system logic. Use strong problem-solving skills to identify and document the impact of changes on applications; communicate the impact to affected teams both verbally and in writing. Understand how legacy and web-based systems interface with each other. Select amongst authorized procedures and seek assistance when guidelines are inadequate, significant deviations are proposed or when unanticipated problems arise. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group (executives, managers, business SMEs, other IT teams). Assist in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules; communicate and apply project standards. Ability to learn new information, both technical and procedural, and to disseminate to colleagues of varying technical skill. Ability to complete individual projects with minimal supervision and successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously. Maintain confidentiality with regards to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the systems under development Ability to work in an extremely busy environment with frequent interruptions and still be able to prioritize and resolve conflicting requests.
